About
I teach Political Discourse Analysis and Semiotics at the University of Bologna, after having taught at the University of California San Diego; Politecnico, Milano; Iulm, MIlano; Università di Roma, "La Sapienza". My field of research concerns war and conflict studies, from a semiotic and cultural point of view. I work on media and aesthetical representations of wars and conflicts. My theoretical work is also about "post-structuralist" philosophy (Deleuze, Guattari, Foucault and their philosophical sources) and the links between semiotics and language studies and the theory of perception in cognitive studies.
