I teach semiotics at European Institute of Design in Milan. I'm a member of C.U.B.E., the Ethnosemiotic Centre of the Bologna University. I'm also part of HerCulES, a research team on cultural heritage.

Being Semiotics a theory of meaning, it's not so strange if during my life I analyzed different objects related to signification: music, cinema and literature; medical epistemology, bioethics and biopolitics; design and fashion; new media and mass culture.
